Giotto Altre is the successor of one of the most popular projects by the box39 - Giotto, which was based on the Harley-Davidson V-rod. The donor model was discontinued in 2017, making it increasingly difficult to continue producing the model.
The incredible success of the form factor inspired us to create our own base for continuing the Giotto story. The heart of the project was chosen to be the Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight engine.
DESIGN
Giotto Altre follows the traditional forms of its predecessor. We have maintained the beloved proportion of a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. The body is crafted with perfect lines that bring together the entire volume of the motorcycle. The unique rear lighting emphasizes the project's status and the pursuit of balanced minimalism.
The image of a low and elongated dragster was carefully shaped in the creation of our own frame.
CHASSIS
Creating our own chassis allowed us to find a balance between aesthetics and maneuverability that comes close to perfection. The 280-millimeter rear tire provides control similar to the HD Breakout while maintaining the premium look expected from a high-end motorcycle. The rear swingarm design is identical to the Softail generation, and when combined with air suspension, it offers absolute comfort for this type of motorcycle.
All controls and instrument panel have been retained from the original donor - the Harley-Davidson Breakout. The passenger seat is also included, along with a large fuel tank, making the Giotto Altre not only a city cruiser but also the perfect companion for medium-distance rides.
BODY
The Giotto Altre's body is made of fiberglass and combined with milled aluminum. We carefully worked with the shape to find a balance between design and functionality.
There is no need to go into detail about this body - it is perfect.
